Silly Myths

I’d planned on recording a new podcast recently, but have been feeling a bit under the weather.  In the meantime I wanted to post this great clip from Matt Chandler.  While the example he uses is debt, it can be applied to other “biblical financial principles” as well.  It also has application to non-financial related topics.  Everything must be examined through the lens of the gospel.

  1. this is one of my favorite quotes from Chandler.

    • You have probably already listened to the entire message, but if not I would highly recommend it. You can find it on the Desiring God website. This is the same message that includes the “Jesus wants the rose” clip. He states in this message that while he wanted to be sent to the prodigal son, God chose to send him to the older brother. That spoke right to me.
